Gaining Help and Strength from Others
We each have different kinds of strength. Some are able to persevere against hopeless odds. Some are able to see light in a world of darkness. Some are able to give selflessly with no thought of return, while others are able to bring a sense of perspective into the hearts of those around them. Those who have such gifts – and there are many in the church who have so much to give – can be of great help and strength to others! We should gain help and strength from others and, just as importantly, we should give help and strength to others, wherever possible. That way we will all be heading in the right direction – right on towards the Kingdom of God!
Is Now the Day of Salvation?
We read in 2 Corinthians 6:2 that now is the accepted time and the day of salvation. Does this mean that salvation is offered today to everyone? If so, then most of humanity would be lost. But how can one come to God in a world which is ruled by Satan and his demons? And can the overwhelming majority of mankind even believe in God and His salvation at this time? What does 2 Corinthians 6:2 really mean?
Effects of Entropy
Can evolution be correct in stating that from chaos comes order? That life spawned from mutating cells? Can it be proven that we live in a world that is getting stronger? Or do we see just the opposite, everything decaying? Do we see the plausibility that the destruction of earth is for a reason and that there is indeed a God who created and set in motion the need for the laws that govern our world?
Separation
God instructs us to separate ourselves from exposure to a wide variety of things that can cause harm. Separation can serve as life-saving tool in the life of a Christian when used properly.
Why Are There Christians?
Is there a purpose for Christianity in a world so utterly at odds with its teachings? Are Christians failing in the goals which are set before them? Why is it so difficult to clearly understand what it means to be a true Christian? Is it even worth the struggle?
Wrestling Sin
The Bible says that we all sin and at times it can be a constant struggle, as we try to overcome. What can we learn from the examples in the Bible about those who continuously wrestled with sin?
What’s Next in Prophecy?
“Migrants Face Deportations and Wall in Europe”; “Will EU Nationals Have the right to Stay in the UK after Brexit?”; “German’s foreign intelligence agency spied on foreign journalists”; “media is the enemy of the American people”; “Keystone pipeline and American steel”; ongoing Twitter war… the list could be continued. What is the common denominator of all these and many more news events and reports? And how does God look at this? And what does all of this tell us as to where we are in prophecy… and what will happen next?
Coming and Going
When God asks us to come to Him, what does He expect of us? Not everyone who wants to come is truly called by Him. Others don’t come, even though they could have come; and then there are those who go or depart, even though they did not have to fall away. Why do they forsake God, and what will happen to them if they do not come back?
Lost Innocence
We live in a world filled with sin. There is no way to avoid it. Have we lost our innocence in regards to sin? Are we warped by it? Have we come to just “accept” sin as a normality? What about our children? Do we do everything we can to guard their precious innocence?
