Fascinating, there actually have been a number of  Foretastes of the Millennium down through history.  We’ll look at 3 countries, who’ve experienced aspects of Foretastes of the Millennium–1-recent, 2-current. Let’s consider how will we compare our ruling in the Millennium. In Country#1–China–it’s amazing–that in recent history 50,000,000 were living in prosperity and at peace under the administration of God’s laws–a Foretaste of the Millennium.  Country#2–Bhutan’s inhabitants are content, for their land is without crime, without dire poverty, without the threat of famine and without war. They are at peace with the world and one anothr.  Country#3–Singapore, is one of the safest countries inthe world, with a low incidence of violent crimes. For robberies committed after 7pm and before 7am punishment is doubled! Life expectancies are among the highest in the wrld and infant mortality rates are among the world’s lowest. Their people value a strong work ethic and close family relations. They’ve maintained political stability and phenomenal economic growth, with one of the highest per capita GDP’s in the world.

In the history of Israel, national repentance and a return to God was accompanied with observing the Holy Days commanded by God. Their example—as well as what we are now doing—all point to one of the most significant events in all of creation!

We are assembling on the evening of the First Day of Tabernacles, because we are commanded to do so. But why? What are the purposes and reasons for keeping the Feast? And what exactly are we commanded to do?

In Leviticus 16, we find described specific and elaborate rituals, which had to be observed and carried out on the Day of Atonement. What spiritual meaning do those rituals have for us today?

Nations in existence in our generation are identified in the Bible as being the modern descendants of the House of Israel.  In particular, Great Britain and the United States fulfill the prophetic blessings given to Ephraim and Manasseh. These modern powerful nations are also warned about national punishment for disobedience. There are ways to identify Israel, to find clues and markers that clearly indicate exactly who Israel is–and, most importantly, what God is saying to Israel today!

In order to build up and strengthen the church body, we must strive to achieve Unity amongst ourselves.  How we achieve that goal is as important as actually achieving it.  We must care for the weaker members of the flock, the lost sheep, for any chance of a sustained Unity.

Christ asked whether He will find on earth faith in God and His truth, when He returns? We are warned that the whole world will be deceived to worship a wrong military and religious leader, as well as “the image which speaks.” Will Christ’s servants be immune from such deception?

The identity of the modern descendants of Israel is of crucial importance for understanding prophecy as well as major portions of the Bible. The promises made by God to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob must be fulfilled. The record of Scripture shows that God created the nation of Israel and that He will always sustain His chosen people.

In this last part of the series on the tablernacle, we will analyze the physical description and the symbolic meaning of the court, the altar of burnt offering, its four horns, and the bronze laver–and we will review the physical and spiritual fulfillment and lessons for us today.
