The Feast is not a vacation. Understand the purpose to dwelling in booths. Learn to fear Eternal. What distracts us? Don’t allow anything to come between us and God. Simplify our lives and don’t become entangled in this life. Look at Abraham’s example of sojourning and obedience. Set your mind on things above.

Who are you? Do you know? Adam and Eve were given a choice. Life and death. Focus on goal, seize it and make it first priority. God chose me through salvation. Our titles: elect, brethren, holy priesthood, holy nation, followers of good, house of God, first fruits, good stewards.
Jesus Christ King of Kings and Lord of Lords – over us. Our citizenship is in heaven.

In order to be a King you must have a territory, subjects and law. Jesus Christ will be the King, the earth will be his territoy, survivors will be His subjects and the law will be God’s. In our lives now, the husband is King of home, with his family as subjects. Be faithful in small matters now: homes, jobs, family etc.

The Bible has many examples showing that as long as people followed God’s instructions, He was with them, but when they turned away from truth, He did not continue to bless them. People think they can change “little” things, not taking into account the far reaching damage that will be done to themselves and others. This applies, too, when it comes to church doctrines. When right teaching is compromised, even a “little,” God is not pleased.

Satan attempted to have Christ worship him. We need to keep in mind our future, especially when tempted. Identify what can cause us to stumble. Biblical examples of false worship were a matter of life and death. True worship in spirit and truth

We are living in a time when people are more concerned for themselves than for others. There is a prevailing attitude of getting all we can for ourselves. Yet God says that it is more blessed to GIVE than to RECEIVE. How can that be? In what way are we more blessed in giving? Learn in this sermon how to develop an attitude of giving, sharing, and caring for others, and how God blesses us in return.

We need a spiritual transformationin order to SEE. Human experience without the holy spirit is not profitable. Be humble like a child. The world is deceived but doesn’t know it. When we stop growing spiritually we will die.

Peter was bold, walking on water. Remove doubt – don’t waiver. Jesus served God boldly. Peter and John preached with all boldness. Examples of bible figures who acted boldly. Be sober and vigilant. Submit to God and resist the devil. Stop Satan by resisting.

Is the school of life the best teacher? Do we learn best by making mistakes? Or is there a better way? God has called us out of this world to be different, to enter into a relationship with Him that makes it possible to obey Him, thus enabling us to live a happy and productive life. The church, the spiritual body of Christ, is to teach us right values so that we can live in peace and harmony, dealing with life’s conflicts in a Godly manner.
