Biblical Meditation, a Forgotten Art

Biblical meditation means to think about, consider, and evaluate, all with a focus toward God. This kind of meditation is a conscious effort to understand human life and God’s purpose for us–from God’s perspective–with His written Word as the basis for our meditation, thus allowing His Spirit to lead us. If we are not meditating properly, then we may not recogize the lead of His Holy Spirit.

Be Involved in the Work of God

Have you ever thought about how the O.T. prophecies apply to us today? At the time of Ezra and Nehemiah, for instance, people were called to rebuild the temple and the city of Jersalem. These two books reveal the obstacles Satan used to try to prevent that work from being accomplished. The parallel for us today is undeniable–be INVOLVED in the work God has given us to do!
