We must take care in our spiritual walk to not draw near to sin that leads us astray. The pull Satan exerts on each of us will lead us into a state we cannot escape if we allow ourselves to draw too close to sin.
Sermons
Don’t be a Hypocrite
What did Jesus mean when He said in John 10:10, “I have come that may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly”? Do we recognize the truly unparalleled ways in which God takes care of His people? Can we say that we are blessed by God?
Commitment
How committed are we on a daily basis in our Christian lives? Do we actively seek God and His will in our lives? It is easy to loose focus and track of what we need to do, but we can learn to become closer to God by diligence and commitment to Him and His laws, through obedience and continual prayer and Thanksgiving.
The Few
In a world that is becoming more and more hostile towards true Christian virtue, it can begin to feel lonely. What kind of hope does the Bible promise to the individuals who dare to stand alone against the evil ways of the world?
The Benefits of God
What did Jesus mean when He said in John 10:10, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly”? Do we recognize the truly unparalleled ways in which God takes care of His people? Can we say that we are blessed by God?
Where Are We Going?
A destination has been set before Christians, and our itinerary is mapped out in the Feast Days of God. The Feast of Unleavened Bread pictures our journey out of sin, but this is not easy—we must have God’s help to finish!
The Cost of Giving
The cost paid by Christ for each of our possible futures cannot be quantified or equaled. He allowed himself to be crucified and did so with an attitude to serve God’s Will. When we give offerings to God, we must remember that He doesn’t desire our money but looks to our attitude in how we give to Him.
The Passover and Christ’s Sacrifice
Properly baptized members of God’s Church who have received the Holy Spirit are commanded to partake of the New Testament Passover, but they must do so in a worthy manner. They must be able to appreciate the significance of Christ’s Sacrifice for their personal lives. They must understand what Christ did and does for them, and they must respond accordingly. But far too often, they do not. This sermon will show some pitfalls and dangers in thought and action.
God or Man? – Part 1
When is it justified to obey God rather than man, even when it comes to human laws and Godly laws? Do we still need to keep the 10 Commandments today? What do the laws of man suggest and are there any contradictions to the laws of God? When it comes right down to it, will we obey God rather than man? This first part will cover the first 4 Commandments which describe the love towards God.
Firewall
In IT, networking the need for a firewall is first and foremost. Without a firewall, the entire network would be rendered useless. As Christians, we also need to have firewalls in place. How can we apply this into our lives?
