“Warum Kam Jesus zu Uns?” is the new German sermon for this week. Title in English: “Why Did Jesus Come to Us?”

A new Global Trailer with Brian Gale (“Germany in Prophecy,” #26)  has been posted on the Internet.

The following messages from last Sabbath and Pentecost have been posted:

“A Vision”—sermonette by Kalon Mitchell

“Comfort and Encouragement”—sermon by Norbert Link

“Crayons”—sermonette by Robb Harris

“What is the Church”—sermon by Dave Harris

“Cain and Abel”—sermonette by Michael Link

“Why Do We Keep Pentecost?”—sermon by Norbert Link

Preaching the Gospel and Feeding the Flock

Pentecost will be observed on Sunday, May 24, 2015. There will be two services with starting times as follows: 10:00 AM Pacific Time and 2:30 PM Pacific Time.

The May Member Letter has been written and will be mailed this week. In it, Dave Harris draws attention to the Feast of Pentecost and the responsibility Christians have since receiving God’s Holy Spirit.

A new German member letter was sent out this week via email, addressing the world situation in light of biblical prophecy and our responsibility as Christians. It also includes announcements for the upcoming weekly Sabbath and Pentecost services in Germany.

WHY the Surprise Victory for David Cameron?” is the title of a new StandingWatch program presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary:

The polls indicated a completely different result, but David Cameron’s “smashing and unexpected outright victory in Britain’s general election” was no accident. Even though analysts try now to determine and “rationalize” the reasons for their wrong predictions, the most important factor for the decisive outcome has been overlooked. Could biblical prophecies have preordained it, and if so, what will be the consequences for the UK, the EU under German leadership, and the rest of the world?

“Trost und Ermutigung,” is the title of this Sabbath’s German sermon. Title in English: “Comfort and Encouragement.”

“Simplify,” the sermonette presented by Eric Rank last Sabbath is now posted. Here is a summary:

Choosing to simplify our lives can be a difficult thing. The world offers a pursuit of more, but a Christian life is one that aims to remove distractions and focus on one very important thing – committing our life to the glorification of God.

“Why Are There Races and Nations?” the sermon presented by Dave Harris last Sabbath is now posted.

Here is a summary:

Nations rise and fall—is that merely the result of blind fate? Or is there a great purpose being worked out by God for ALL of His creation? Is God actually guiding the eventual outcome of man’s activities among the many races and nations?

Preaching the Gospel and Feeding the Flock

Pentecost will be observed on Sunday, May 24, 2015. There will be two services with starting times as follows: 10:00 AM Pacific Time and 2:30 PM Pacific Time.

“America’s War in the Middle East,” is the title of a new StandingWatch program presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary:

The war of America and its allies in the Middle East presents a picture of utmost confusion. Arabs are bombing and fighting each other, while America is in the middle of it. At the same time, the relationship between President Obama and the state of Israel is deteriorating rapidly, which is due, according to some view points, to Obama’s love of Islam and his dislike of Israel. In addition, there is no more special relationship between the USA and the UK. America’s influence is dwindling, and the vacuum will be filled by a mighty European power bloc under German leadership. We are offering you our free booklet, “Europe in Prophecy.”

“Selbstmord–ein tödlicher Irrtum,” is this week’s new German sermon. Title in English: “Suicide–a Deadly Mistake.”

What To Believe,” the sermonette presented last Sabbath by Kalon Mitchell, is now posted.

How Long Has God Been Working with You?” the sermon presented last Sabbath by Norbert Link, is now posted. Here is a summary:

How does God work in your life, and when did He begin to do so? Was it when He called you and when you began to understand more and more of the truth? Or did God know you long before your calling, and did He influence some of your decisions prior to your calling, in order to fulfill His plan for you? And if so, what consequences might this have for you today?

Preaching the Gospel and Feeding the Flock

“Modern Judaism and True Christianity,” is the new StandingWatch program presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary:

Jesus strongly condemned human traditions in Judaism which did away with the Law of God, including man-made Sabbath regulations, dishonoring parents and ritual washings. Today, it is not that much different. This program examines undue restrictions and liberal trends in modern Judaism, pertaining to the Sabbath, same sex marriages and transgender, which are all in total opposition to the Bible and true Christianity.

The program offers three of our free booklets (“Old Testament Laws—Still Valid Today?”; “God’s Commanded Holy Days”; and “The Keys to Happy Marriages and Families.”)

“Die Zehn Europäischen Wiederauferstehungen des Ehemaligen Römischen Reiches,“ is our newest booklet which has been translated into German. It will be posted shortly on our German website. The English version is, “The Ten European Revivals of the Ancient Roman Empire.” Along with further translations, the additional printing of German booklets has become necessary, and work is under way to accomplish this in the near future.

“Gottes Sabbate— Für Uns Heute?” is the title for a new German AufPostenStehen program. Title in English: “God’s Sabbaths—For Us Today?” The program promotes and offers two of our free German booklets, dealing with the Sabbath and the annual Holy Days.

“Kennt Gott unsere Zukunft?” is the title of the German sermon for this coming Sabbath, which is based on the Q&A for this week’s Update. Title in English: “Does God Know Our Future?”

“Today,” last Sabbath’s sermonette presented by Eric Rank, is now posted. Here is a summary:

Those who are called out of the world to understand God’s truth today have a distinct and awesome privilege. They are blessed with the raw materials necessary to understand God’s Truth, truly become obedient, and overcome sin by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. This opportunity is unique because it is available in the present moment. Christians do not need to wait to take an active role in fulfilling the plan of God.

“Freedom From What?” is the title of the sermon presented by Robb Harris last Sabbath. It is now posted and here is a summary:

The world seeks freedom from oppression, yet the most oppressive tyrant of all keeps the world in spiritual slavery.  Only through God’s Holy Spirit can we see the slavery Satan subjugates mankind with.  And only by God opening our eyes can we see what true freedom is.

The speaking schedule for May have been posted on our website.

Preaching the Gospel and Feeding the Flock

A new Member Letter has been mailed. In it, Dave Harris offers a short review of our recent Conference along with summaries relative to Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread in both the U.S. and Germany.

“Wrong Political Opinions and Your Reaction,” is the title of a new StandingWatch program presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary.

US political candidates have begun their battle for the presidency, while uttering opinions which are totally opposed to the Holy Scriptures. What is your reaction when you hear those comments, or when you see how the nation is descending further and further into the abyss of lawlessness and ungodliness? Are you indifferent about it, thinking it does not matter? The Bible tells us unequivocally what are abominations in God’s eyes, and He pronounces severe punishment on such conduct. We are also clearly informed as to how we, as Christians, must behave when we are confronted with transgressions of God’s Law.

“Seit Wann Wirkt Gott in Ihrem Leben?” is the title of a new German sermon. The title in English is (approximately), “How Long Has God Worked in Your Life?”

“Perseverance,” the sermonette given by Mike Link last Sabbath, is now posted. Here is a summary:

Despite difficulty in the trials we go through in our lives, are we strong enough to remain faithful to God’s way of life?

“Sinning Against the Holy Spirit,” is the sermon given last Sabbath by Norbert Link. This powerful presentation addresses ALL Christians with unmistakable warnings found in God’s Word!

Here is a summary:

The sin against the Holy Spirit is the unpardonable sin, which will not be forgiven. Why is this so? And how can we determine whether we are in danger of committing the unpardonable sin? The Bible gives us important hints.

Preaching the Gospel and Feeding the Flock

“US Foreign Policy Worse Than Ever Before!” is the title of a new StandingWatch program presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary:

The discussions about the “deal” between the USA and Iran are ongoing. America is accused of being weak and pursuing a policy of appeasement that emboldens Iran, while antagonizing Israel. The “deal” does not address Iran’s terrorist activities nor its desire to eradicate Israel, and President Obama and his administration are charged with creating an unbelievable Middle East powder keg, setting the stage for an unprecedented conflict. America’s downfall is inevitable, and the vacuum will be filled by other nations, according to biblical prophecy.

“Wann ist Heute der Sabbat?” is the new German sermon for this Sabbath. Title in English: “When is the Sabbath Today?”

Three German sermons given by Norbert Link and one given by Mike Link during their visit to Germany for the Passover and Days of Unleavened Bread are now posted: http://www.aufpostenstehen.de/category/videos/sermons/

Several recent sermonettes and sermons by Dave Harris, Rene Messier, Brian Gale, Eric Rank, Kalon Mitchell and Joe Bourque are now posted:  http://www.eternalgod.org/sermons/

They will follow up with the baptism and counseling requests we have received along with other administrative matters for the Church in Germany. Brian Gale will conduct Passover services in San Diego, and he and Jill will stay for the Days of Unleavened Bread. Rene Messier will be conducting Passover services in Oregon, while the Colorado ministry will conduct Passover services locally.

“Defenseless Against Nuclear Attacks?” is the title of a new StandingWatch program, presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary:

More and more commentators warn against an all-encompassing nuclear war, and Russia has claimed that it could turn America into radioactive ash. Vladimir Putin admitted that he was willing to use nuclear weapons against the West when he annexed Crimea. Forbes magazine points out that America is hopelessly defenseless against incoming long-range ballistic missiles and that all it can do is “lay waste.” Sadly, that is exactly what the Bible prophesies, and God thunders at all of us to wake up.

“Erfolgreiche Gebete–in Jesu Namen,” is the new German sermon for this Sabbath. It is the final installment of a series about prayer. Title in English: “Successful Prayers–In Jesus’ Name.”
