Were the CA Wildfires Caused By God?
Norbert Link | November 3, 2007
Nothing happens against God’s Will. God is in overall control. But does this mean that God causes all the evils and natural catastrophes in this world today–including earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions and firestorms–or is He just allowing them to happen? Regarding the most recent fires in Southern California, did GOD start them?

Restoration
Dave Harris | October 27, 2007
We see that John did indeed fulfill specific scriptures that foretold his Elijah role, but we also see that these same prophecies included events that would happen in the future–far beyond the lifetime of John the Baptist. Who, then, does the Bible reveal as the One Who will accomplish the “restoration of all things”?
Two Prophets
Dave Harris | October 13, 2007
Elijah and Elisha were prophets of God. Their story is used by God to give us understanding about prophetic events that have occurred as well as awesome prophecies that will accompany the end of our own age–when two mighty prophets will fulfill what God has caused to be written in His Word about a yet future “Elijah”!
Why Miracles?
Dave Harris | October 6, 2007
People are very easily swayed by events that might be called miraculous. Is there a purpose for miracles–both those from God and those that Satan is allowed to cause? For Christians, the issue is to NOT let anyone deceive us–and miracles are an area for which we need to be prepared!

Women and the Ministry
Brian Gale (United Kingdom) | October 6, 2007
A woman is never to set herself up as a teacher in the ministry – or teach at services – as that would mean that men would then be subject to women and would reverse the order that God has set in place. A woman should not be placed in any ministerial capacity and today women preachers have taken unto themselves authority that is not rightfully theirs. The Church of God has taught for decades that only men should be in the ministry. We are to live by every Word of God – and that is the plain teaching of Scripture.
The Mystery of the Last Great Day
Dave Harris | October 4, 2007
Of all the Feast Days in God’s plan, this day–the Eighth Day, the seventh feast of God’s annual Holy Days–is the least understood. However, God has revealed to those who obey Him the purpose of this time in His great Holy Day plan of salvation for mankind.

Gentleness

The Biblical Family
Dave Harris | September 30, 2007
We all have been a product of this society–of our own generation with its strengths and its weaknesses. In light of how the structure of family is under assault, we need to know what the family is and what it means from God’s perspective.

Foretaste of the Millenium
Bill Grams | September 29, 2007
Fascinating, there actually have been a number of Foretastes of the Millennium down through history. We’ll look at 3 countries, who’ve experienced aspects of Foretastes of the Millennium–1-recent, 2-current. Let’s consider how will we compare our ruling in the Millennium. In Country#1–China–it’s amazing–that in recent history 50,000,000 were living in prosperity and at peace under the administration of God’s laws–a Foretaste of the Millennium. Country#2–Bhutan’s inhabitants are content, for their land is without crime, without dire poverty, without the threat of famine and without war. They are at peace with the world and one anothr. Country#3–Singapore, is one of the safest countries inthe world, with a low incidence of violent crimes. For robberies committed after 7pm and before 7am punishment is doubled! Life expectancies are among the highest in the wrld and infant mortality rates are among the world’s lowest. Their people value a strong work ethic and close family relations. They’ve maintained political stability and phenomenal economic growth, with one of the highest per capita GDP’s in the world.

In the history of Israel, national repentance and a return to God was accompanied with observing the Holy Days commanded by God. Their example—as well as what we are now doing—all point to one of the most significant events in all of creation!
