God’s covenant with Levi is still in force today. Levites will give sacrifices in Jerusalem, and they will be administering duties in the new Temple. But do we know who the Levites are today? How can we be sure?

Do you understand the biblical purpose for having ministers who preach–both their role and ours?  It is important, absolutely crucial and even imperative that we do recognize the role of preaching in the Church of God!

Hypocrisy is mentioned in numerous ways in the Bible. How can we recognize this sin? How can we make sure that we are not hypocrites? Also, what is the opposite of hypocritical works?

What do the last three horsemen of the Apocalypse symbolize? Should true Christians fight in war? Did we realize that there were no Christian soldiers in the early Christian church? What has been the teaching of the true Church of God on this subject throughout its existence?

Why shouldn’t we observe worldly holidays such as Christmas, New Year’s Day, Easter or Halloween? Do we know the real origins of New Year’s Day, which are very similar to the origins of Christmas? How should we avoid participating in celebrations during those days and, at the same time, causing unnecessary offense?

What does it take to be courageous as a Christian? There are three attributes that the Bible describes. Courage requires knowing what’s right and doing it, overcoming fear, and having faith.

What are the signs of the end? What does the Olivet Prophecy teach us? What do the seven seals in the book of Revelation mean? What do the four horsemen of the Apocalypse describe? In this first sermon of this new series, we will focus on the white horse. Does it picture the victory of true Christianity, as most think?  Or does it show something which is quite different?

We are introduced to the words Mene, Tekel and Upharsin in the book of Daniel. We will go through and see if these words have any meaning for us today.

We are to work with vision–with a sense of the job that is before us!  It is this perspective that will propel us to accomplish the work God has for His Church in the coming years–a time without parallel since the world began!

Many times, we speak too quickly or rashly, without first thinking or considering deeply what we are saying. But God holds us responsible for what we may promise. God is totally reliable and trustworthy, and He cannot lie. He wants to see the same character trait in His children.

We should always be thankful and we are to show our thanks to God for everything at all times.  There are several ways that we show our appreciation and how we can also express our thanks to others.

Our prayers can be a sweet smelling aroma before God.  We must strive to make them so through our willingness to sacrifice our time–in prayer–for our fellow brethren.

The strength we have comes from God. We must trust in God, not on our own abilities, to live lives that are pleasing to Him.

The Word of God reminds us to be on guard against falling away!  A vital key to help us in this challenge is to understand the purpose for God’s Church and to know that we are truly members of the spiritual body of Jesus Christ.

Many wonder how to apply God’s laws today. What about the Ten Commandments, the annual Holy Days, sacrifices and washings, laws of national warfare, marriage to the sister-in-law after the brother’s death, certain penalties for wrongdoing, wearing tassels, touching dead bodies, circumcision, cross-dressing, wearing garments of different sorts, or sowing different kinds of seed? How can we know the answer?

Why are we following the current Hebrew Calendar in order to be able to observe the annual Holy Days in their proper times? Why doesn’t anyone else have the God-given authority to devise their own calendar? Why does the rejection of the Hebrew calendar constitute a lack of faith in the power of God Almighty?

Many are confused today when they hear about “laws” which are mentioned in the Old Testament. Which laws are still valid for Christians today, and which are no longer in force and effect? What principles are we to apply in order to find the answer to these questions?

The truth of God’s word does reveal the future for all of mankind – even in terms of eternity.  We can know and anticipate this future based on the promises God has given to those who obey Him!

Most professing Christians believe that a person who dies will immediately go to heaven or hell or purgatory. But the Bible teaches us about the resurrections from the dead. The Old Testament reveals that God will bring the dead back to life, but that this does not mean that all will be resurrected at the same time, or to the same condition. The New Testament confirms that there will be more than just one resurrection. This sermon explains why.

The suffering we endure in the lives we lead in the world can be overwhelming. By helping others we can receive the benefit of God’s guidance through our suffering. We must also remember that our suffering helps us to partake of that which Jesus Christ endured for our sake. In due time, however, God’s plan will be completed, and suffering of all kind will cease.
